Inspiration Behind the Movie
The film is based on the graphic novel Ciudad by Ande Parks, Joe Russo, Anthony Russo, and Fernando León González. Director Sam Hargrave, a former stunt coordinator for the Avengers films, brought a gritty, real-world intensity to the action, inspired by classic one-man-army films like John Wick and Man on Fire.
