Inspiration Behind the Movie

Bob Odenkirk’s own experience with multiple home break-ins inspired Nobody. Frustrated by how helpless he felt in those moments, he worked with John Wick writer Derek Kolstad to create a film that explores what happens when an underestimated man fights back. Odenkirk trained for two years in combat to make his action sequences feel raw and realistic.

You Might Not Know

  1. Bob Odenkirk did most of his own stunts, undergoing months of fight training to make Hutch’s skills look authentic.
  2. Christopher Lloyd stole the show—despite being 80+ years old, he insisted on doing his own action scenes.
  3. The bus fight took four days to film and was one of the most intense sequences, with Odenkirk performing many real hits.
  4. The movie shares DNA with John Wick—both were written by Derek Kolstad and produced by the same team.
  5. Odenkirk is developing a sequel, promising even crazier action.
